Photo Exhibition: "STEP IT UP! Voices of Strength from Creative Women in Jordan"

In the context of the Women’s Film Week, UNESCO and UN WOMEN cordially invite you to the photo exhibition “STEP IT UP! Voices of Strength from Creative Women in Jordan”, which will take place in Rainbow Theatre from the 8th till the 12th of March 2015.

This exhibition portrays stories of women in Jordan drawn from UNESCO and UN WOMEN’s projects on women empowerment.  This display examines the ways in which culture contributes to the socio-economic development of women and to the resilience of their communities. Dignity, strength and creativity: these are some of the features that distinguish these extraordinary women participating in UNESCO and UN WOMEN’s projects in Jordan.
